Cookie Policy

This page explains the current, deliberately minimal browser-storage behaviour and what must change if optional tracking is added.

Current behaviour

The supplied implementation does not load advertising scripts, analytics scripts or other optional tracking by default. It does not set a non-essential cookie. If a visitor saves the essential-only privacy preference, the site stores the value “essential-only” in local browser storage on that device.

Why the preference is stored

The value records the visitor’s choice to keep the site in its essential-only state. It is not used for behavioural advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking. A visitor can remove local browser storage through their browser settings.

If analytics or advertising is added

Before enabling AdSense, analytics, embedded third-party media or other optional technologies, the company must inventory every technology, determine applicable consent requirements, update the privacy and cookie notices, and implement a consent solution that meets the applicable legal and platform requirements. A generic banner may not be sufficient.

Managing preferences

Use the “Privacy preferences” control in the footer to record the current essential-only preference. This control does not grant consent to future advertising or tracking technologies.
